Solution:

From problem 7-62) we know the the area of the large square is 200cm^2. 

The diameter of the circle is square root of 200.

Area in blue = (200-3.14*(200/2^2))/2 = 21.5cm^2

Area in orange = (3.14*(200/2^2)-10*10)/4 = 14.3cm^2

Therefore the area of the purple part is 21.5 + 14.3 = 35.8cm^2
