Solution: After Andy walked for 2 minutes, the
distance between him and Sam's house is 1420-2x60=1300 meters. Andy and Sam
covered this distance by walking towards each other and met at the park. The
time it took for them to meet is 1300/(60+70)=10 min. Therefore it takes Andy 12
minutes (2 + 10) to walk from his house to the park. The distance between Andy's
house and the park is 720 meters (12 x 60 = 720).
