7-85) Farmer Kirk sells freshly picked apples on a Sunday. He sold 1/5th (in weight) of all his apples in the first hour. In the second hour, he sold 14 pounds and he has 52 pounds left. How many pounds of apples does he have at the beginning of the day?

7-86) Ben and Ken opened a box of Lego parts. Ben took 60 pieces. Ken took the remaining which is 1/3 of all pieces plus 2. How many Lego pieces in all were in the box?

7-87) When water becomes ice, its volume increases by 10%. When ice melts into water, how much does its volume change in percentage?

7-90) Patrick’s truck uses 4 gallons of gasoline a day. He filled up the tank on Monday morning and 1/7th is left on Saturday night. How many gallons of gasoline did Patrick fill on Monday morning?
